Senior’s RV Blog

Hello Senior RVer - Don’t be afraid to take it slow. It is so tempting to see many places in as little time as possible. This pace can get exhausting, especially for seniors. If you are trying to see it all, remember the 3-3-3 or the 2-2-2 rules. Make traveling easy by using these rules:

‍

3-3-3 Rule:

• Limit travel to 300 miles a day

• Arrive no later than 3pm

• Stay at your site for 3 days

‍

OR the

‍

2-2-2 Rule:

• Limit travel to 200 miles a day

• Arrive no later than 2pm

• Stay at your site for 2 days

‍

Staying at a campground for a few days gives you the chance to make great friends with other RVers.

‍

Suggestions for prescriptions (You basically have two choices):

• Have your mail order meds delivered to the front desk of the camp/resort you are staying at. Be sure to check with the camp/resort to ensure they will allow mail delivery, as some do not.

• Use national pharmacy like CVS or Walgreen’s. These national chains share information through their computer systems, so you can pick up a prescription basically anywhere in the USA.
